The Location

Brooklyn Hospital Center is a beautiful hospital located in Downtown Brooklyn, also referred to as Fort Green. It is a full service community hospital with 410 beds. The Department of Anesthesia includes both Anesthesiologists and CRNAs working in a collaborative fashion to provide a full range of inpatient and outpatient services. The case mix includes General Surgery, Urology, Vascular, Orthopedics, Peds, Ob-Gyn, and Pain Management.

Position Requirements

  • Assists in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
  • Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
  • M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
  • ECFMC and FLEX
  • Completion of approved Residency in Anesthesia
  • Currently licensed as a Physician
