    The Location

    Our Department based at Vassar Brothers Medical Center js seeking an outstanding Anesthesiologist to be part of a strong, diverse, and innovative practice. We serve and are expanding in multiple locations both in and outside the hospital setting providing a wide array of environments and our practice is designed to provide and encourage significant professional advancement. A new state of the art hospital center is under construction, and life in the beautiful Hudson Valley is peaceful and sophisticated with 2 premier college campuses and easy access to NYC


    Vassar Brothers Medical Center is recognized for
    stroke and cardiac care, and has the area’s first
    and only cardiothoracic surgery center between
    Westchester and Albany. For women’s and
    children’s health services, we offer the first and
    only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
    in the region for premature and critically ill infants.
    Vassar recently became a Level II Trauma Center,
    further advancing the center’s vision to provide the
    community with local access to state-of-the-art
    medical care.

    Position Requirements

    • Assists in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
    • Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
    • M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
    • ECFMC and FLEX
    • Completion of approved Residency in Anesthesia
    • Currently licensed as a Physician
    • Call Schedule: 6 calls/month (1st, 2nd, 3rd call)
