The Location


 

Sinai Hospital is general medical and surgical 467 bed facility with 22 Operating Rooms, 4 Ambulatory Operating rooms, 3 GIDC rooms, Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, Pediatric Remote, Radiation Oncology, MRI and CT. ­The Anesthesia Department consists of 25 anesthesiologists, 22 certi‑edregistered nurse anesthetists (CRNA), 16 student registered nurse anesthetists (SRNA), and 10 anesthesia technicians. Our SRNA Program is aliated with Georgetown University, University of Maryland School of Medicine, and York College of Pennsylvania.

Position Requirements

  • Holds a current license as a registered professional nurse and complies with any applicable state statutory or requirements concerning the advanced practice of nursing
  • Graduation from a program of nurse anesthesia education accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) or its predecessor
  • Complies with one of the following requirements regarding certification; or initial certification or recertification:
    • Meets requirements above and is awaiting on initial certification; or
    • Is currently certified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or it predecessor; or 
    • Is currently recertified by the AANA Council on Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists
