  • Overview

    NAPA's Illinois practice includes 6 facilities with 60 anesthesia providers in total.  We currently have an opening for leadership position as the Chair of Anesthesia at a small urban community hospital in Chicago.  The case mix includes General OR, L&D, and Endoscopy in 6-7 anesthetizing locations.  There is In-house call but it is gentle.  This will be a great opportunity to assist in the expanding volume and services along with the implementation  of innovative programs.  We are looking for a leader to inspire a staff of 4 anesthesiologists and 5 CRNAs to provide excellent care.

    Position Requirements


    • Experience directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department in a leadership role.
    • Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
    • Promoting and repersenting our group though  
    • M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
    • ECFMC and FLEX
    • Board Certification
    • Completion of approved Residency in Anesthesia
    • Currently licensed as a Physician
