    The Location

    Huntington Hospital has been a member of Northwell Health since 1994, and shares the System's vision of being a preeminent healthcare delivery system in the tradition of excellence and the embodiment of community values and human dignity.  Huntington Hospital serves as a clinical campus for the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, which is owned by the Health System in partnership with Hofstra University.

    The case mix includes robotic surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, plastics, obsetrics, and ambulator pediatrics.

    Located only 30 minutes from Manhattan, local Huntington attractions include museums such as the Heckscher Museum of art and the Cold Spring Harbor Whaling Museum.  Huntington boasts a lively downtown laden with restaurants, boutiques, galleries, and music performance venues.

    Position Requirements

    • Holds a current license as a registered professional nurse and complies with any applicable state statutory or requirements concerning the advanced practice of nursing
    • Graduation from a program of nurse anesthesia education accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) or its predecessor
    • Complies with one of the following requirements regarding certification; or initial certification or recertification:
      • Meets requirements above and is awaiting on initial certification; or
      • Is currently certified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or it predecessor; or 
      • Is currently recertified by the AANA Council on Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists
