  • Overview

    Performs all duties of a Payroll Administrator including processing, balancing and controlling earnings, deduction totals, inspecting automated system output such as registers and standard reports and gathering payroll data.

    Position Requirements

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for controlling timely and accurate payroll input through internal system and external payroll service provider

    Requirements: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Human Resources
    • At least 3years of payroll related experience.
    • ADP WorkforceNow (HRB, Pay expert, ADP Reporting, Tax and Banking Portal)
    • Enterprise E-time
    • ACCPAC
    • FPC or CPP designation desired

     

    Specialized Skills Required:

    • Previuos Payroll Experience
    • Accuracy, time management, organization and communication skills
    • Ability to use judgement and initiative
    • Strong researching skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Working knowledge of payroll systems acquired from on the job training
    • Working knowledge of all payroll policies and procedures relative to their specific payroll or correct pay calculation (i.e. when does overtime or double time apply, pre-tax deductions, social security and other wage maximums)
    • Working knowledge (as related to payroll) of month-end procedures and reporting
    • Ability to reconcile, audit and problem solve
