  • Overview

    The Payroll Administrator is responsible for processing, balancing and controlling earnings, deduction totals, inspecting automated system output such as registers and standard reports and gathering payroll data. Responsilities include controlling timely and accurate payroll input through internal system and external payroll service provider, supporting Time and Attendance and reporting to Accounting. The qualified candidate must have experience with Enterprise eTime, ADP Workforce Now and Multi-state payroll.

    Position Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Human Resources
    • At least 4 years of payroll experience
    • Previous payroll experience
    • Accuracy, time management, organization and communication skills
    • Ability to use judgement and initiative
    • Strong researching skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Working knowledge of payroll systems acquired from on the job training
    • Working knowledge of all payroll policies and procedures relative to their specific payroll or correct pay calculation (i.e. when does overtime or double time apply, pre-tax deductions, social security and other wage maximums)
    • Ability to reconcile, audit and problem solve
    • FPC or CPP designation preferred
